Meet Amber
Founder & Lead Designer
Amber has always had a Pleasure for "Nice Things" and helping others ever since she could remember.
How it all started...
Couture Decor was established by a mother-daughter duo, Sheila and Amber. The business name, Couture Decor, was created by Amber when she was just a sophomore in highschool. As a girl, Amber watched Sheila take a vision and transform it into a phenomenal event. When Sheila decided to turn her hobby into an event decorating service, she asked her daughter Amber to name the business. Amber chose the name “Couture Decor” and the company was officially established in 2009. In 2017, Sheila relocated to Jacksonville, FL and her loyal clients of Couture Decor were distraught. They did not want to hire anyone else to decorate their events. Therefore, Amber decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps and continue Couture Decor. In 2018, the duo reunited when Sheila moved back to Philadelphia and ran the business together.
